After 10 days waiting, the parcel finally shipped out without cheating.  Finger crossed for arrival safely and nothing missed.

On 01-Mar-2014, I contacted them for a set of collets and I paid on 4-Mar-2014.  During the conversation, they never mention any availibility.

I got an email notified me that parcel was sent on 04-Mar-2014.  That was fast!

Wait, what should I complain for?

07-Mar-2014, I found there is no update on the tracking, so I just emailed them for details.

I got their reply stated that the items are back order!

I told them that I can wait, but it is better if they can tell me before hand.  If I do not email them for the tracking event, will they tell me the fact?  Definitely no!  Their so-called policy to ship out by 1-2 business day is a trick.  They tricked you by sending electronic info to USPS, so that the parcel looks like shipped by time.

We should beware such dishonest business and avoid to fall into their trap again.

減低 Proxxon PD230/E Cross Slide 虛位問題

Proxxon PD230/E 一直宣稱主軸 (Spindle) 如何精準，但當我購入後，雖然主軸很好，但各處的問題不斷，形成誤差大，而且使用不便。

其中 Cross Slide 一直有嚴重虛位問題，形成進刀後，刀會往操作者(-Y)方向後退。另外，若果使用 PF230 的話，虛位問題會影響銑工件的準備金度。

調較　Cross Slide 旁的 Gib screws, 雖然能減少虛位問題，但卻引致 Cross Slide 很緊，而且使用一段時間後會鬆掉，問題又會重來。

折開 Cross Slide 細心檢查，發現虛位是因為導桿上有一段很小的位置沒有螺紋。這個位置剛好在手柄輪跟Cross Slide 之間，形成手柄輪不能緊貼Cross Slide！

問題的根源找到了，解決方法是自製一個尼龍墊片，中心是 M5，外徑是 12mm, 厚約 1mm.　墊片太薄沒有效果，太厚就上不到手柄輪。

裝上墊片，確 定導桿是在-Y位置的盡頭，然後再安裝手柄輪。

這樣，虛位的問題就解決了。

用尼龍的好處是沒有磨損的問題，就是磨損也是墊片，不會是用鋁合金製造，脆弱的手柄輪及 Cross Slide。

當然導桿會加快磨損，但總比有大虛位不能用更好吧？而且換導桿也不太難。

終於收到包裹

經過八天，終於收到從 Lucky Model 寄出的郵件。

本地要用上八天，真的很誇張。於是我檢查一下郵印，竟然是 2 月 19 日，即是昨天，而不是他們宣稱寄出的 2 月 12 日。

看來所謂的延誤，並不是郵政局那邊，而是他們根本未有寄出！

另外他們下單時的價格，是比網上的標價貴。他們說這是包含郵費在內。這樣，問題來了......

1. 若果是海外的買家，要另外繳付郵資，豈不是雙重收費？
2. 宣傳本地免郵費是失實，因為我們每件都要付「郵費」。 若果你買多件東西，「郵費」一定比快遞更貴，但他們只是給你最便宜的普通平郵，因為你沒有額外再付郵費。
3. 網頁中隻字不提每件貨品要多收取的貨用，下單時若沒細心核對，隨時是買貴了也不知道。這不是想借瞞騙嗎？

這種做生意的手法，極不可取！

Lucky Model

最近都不知道犯了什麼，Flickr　出錯無人跟進，Lucky Model 的郵件也不知所終。

我已經在２月１７日及２月１９日都致電他們的客服，但每次都是說農曆年過後，郵政局有大量郵件要處理，所以比較慢。但郵政局有服務承諾，是三天內可以送達。


另外，我問過別人，有人在２月１７日訂了貨的，２月１８日已經收到了。


若果仍未收到，我遲些再找他們看看，收不到貨就向PayPal 投訴及貼上黑店告示，提醒大家小心。
